Matthew Lien - Bleeding Wolves

這張專輯，是讓我開始接觸 New Age 音樂的兩張專輯之一，在國中的時候，一位同學 向我推薦這張專輯，我深受這種大自然音樂的感動，往後到了唱片行逛逛時，我永遠都是 先往這類專輯的試聽區移動，這位同學在音樂方面真的影響我很大(另一張專輯叫做「森林 狂想曲」，也是他推薦的) 「Bleeding Wolves」是馬修連恩在1995年發行的專輯(2005年有發行十週年慶祝專輯... 因為太賣了！)，也是他的第二張個人專輯，而且也因為這張專輯，馬修連恩的名字傳遍了 世界。這張專輯的背景，是在加拿大的原野上，因著政府「增加鹿群」的政策，使得大量 的狼被捕殺，馬修連恩對這件事情感到十分難過，於是用了音樂描述、記錄下狼群的無助 、徬徨，同時也對於人類此般的行為提出質疑，這樣的行動對大自然真的好嗎？ 第一首「Flying Squirrel Creek (飛鼠溪)」，他的旋律讓人感受到，狼群自在的在原野上 奔馳，享受屬於他們的天地，這首也是這張專輯的主打歌曲，有許多人也許沒聽過這張專輯 ，但都對這首曲子的旋律有印象。飛鼠溪是大部分人最喜愛的一首，但在這張專輯中，我最 喜歡的是第三首「Bressanone (步列瑟儂)」，他的歌詞及悲傷的旋律深深的打動我，搭配 著背景的火車聲音，離人之情瞬間上湧，或許你之前沒有仔細看過歌詞，這次不仿邊聽邊欣 賞歌詞，也許你的內心深處也會被觸動到！
